Orange County

In Orange County – stay at the Disneyland Hotel and walk to Disneyland and ask for a room that faces the evening fireworks, so if you are tired, you can watch them from your balcony. [http://Disneyland.Disney.go.com} Old Orange County is best experienced from the circle in Orange and have pancakes at the sidewalk café at Watsons. Drive down I-55 that ends at Balboa Peninsula and park by the Newport Beach Pier and enjoy the water. You can drive all the way to the end of Balboa Peninsula where the famous surf spot, “UP” large waves crash right on the sand. Swim at Newport Pier – not at “The Wedge”! Eat lunch at the Crab Cooker across the road from the Newport Pier.
Take the 3 Car Ferry across to Balboa Island. Stroll in front of cute beach homes and choose any place for dinner and enjoy the shopping. Leave room for some soft ice cream as you window shop!
